I've thought about using something like Microscope (and now Decuma) to get buy-in on the high-level story from the players. I can't even get to that stage right now.
It's like the squirrel from Hoodwinked is running my D&D brain -- Everybody had fun with Arabian Nights. What about Eberron? That Kickstarter you backed should be here in a month or two. What if you tied them all together in a multi-verse? AAAAAGGGHH!!
The upside is that I have a little bit of time on my side. My Cyberpunk game will be the next one in rotation soon. After all, it's almost 2020. So I probably don't have to have something in development until early summer. And I love my players, but they're not giving me a lot of direction. I get a lot of "we always love what you come up with", which is awfully nice, unless you're asking what they want.
