Well, it's replaced the 'crew' setup of other Forged games, a shared character sheet that kind of defines the PC group's specialties and resources, with a few "series" sheets, instead defining what genre of magical girl story you're telling. Which, in itself? Pretty great idea, honestly. Although I'd rather that have been a thing in addition to the crew sheets, akin to Blades having Characters, Crews, and a third one for territory.
The three series all work very differently, both thematically and mechanically, which I'd also call a good thing. I just ... don't like how any of them actually work, especially the one for my preferred magical girl genre: "We're all fucked, but refused to give up."
And the visual design for one of them is just .... it's just awful. It's actually uncomfortable to look at. I really hope that gets changed before it comes out of playtesting.
