So by the end of the Con I had run two games of Demigods, two games of Decuma, combined a very simplifed version of Decuma location cards for building a world for Cat with kids aged 4 -11 and explained Decuma to about 10 people in between sessions.
I had also exposed a number of people to using technology in tabletop roleplaying, from using Google maps and websites to using VTTs with a "home" group.
Oh, and made a number of people aware of a real world bio-terror event just waiting to happen. Seriously look at some sites about Aralsk 7 and see if you get a shudder down your spine too.
For my one shot, the draining of the Aral Sea had enabled Erlik and his children freedom to use the bio-weapons sitting in the soil of Aralsk7 along with tourism to start a super plague. Science was behind it all, wanting to destroy humanity's faith in Science to cure all diseases.
