I'm looking to take my first real step into being a grown-up gamer and putting together a group for my first campaign ever.
Logistics so far:
Using Discord for voice chat and Roll20 for mechanics (and a virtual whiteboard). Shooting for 6pm-9pm Central time, everybody currently involved is open to any day but Monday. All necessary rules materials will be provided.
I'll be running Rhapsody of Blood, a PbtA game heavily inspired by Castlevania, with a bit of Bloodborne mixed in (and just a weeeee but of Fate/Stay Night and JoJo's bizarre adventure, for those into those... but just a bit), about the struggles of heroic bloodlines facing a recurring supernatural evil through the generations, assaulting the castle when- and wherever it appears, whatever form it takes, to banish its evil from the world ... for a time.
Rhapsody is a multi-generational game, players will each control a single bloodline representing fairly broad archetypes of monster-righting groups (shadowy cabals, devout churchmen and women, magely traditions, etc) that persists, changes, and potentially improves between generations, and individual explorers from said bloodlines, with playbooks covering more specific character types (bloodborne-esque monster hunters, Stand Users, Mystics, etc) that will explore the castle directly, expose themselves to its dark corruption, hopefully save some people along the way, and ultimately bring down the castle's master and send it back to wherever it comes from, and then settle back to preparing the next generations for its return.
If anyone's interested, shoot me a PM, let me know when you're available, and I'll get back to you.
Currently we've got one GM and two players, looking for one to two more. Gonna be keeping the group small.
