I was poking around on the old HJ ProBoards forums last night, looking for something I'd posted a long time ago. I came across the old Mote of Sin AP folder and spent a long time reading it.

Man I miss that game. Skully turned out to be one of my favorite characters of all time. I wish I could have ridden that one out to the end.

He is probably the character I have the most hate for since Jar Jar Binks.

I did like the slash fiction though...

I totally see why you have such feelings for that game. It has been one of the best AP from HJ! The interplay between Albert and Skully was so great.

Yeah, I think Skully was my favorite character. I mean, Skully was definitely my favorite character. Such a great concept and Tim roleplayed him so well. Like the torpored vampire in the damn wedding gown was deliciously creepy.

Skully was awesome. Albert I cursed repeatedly ? . I wish there could be another long running AP like this again where the characters are developed so much and the interplay between characters gets to be so deep.

I’m working my way through the AP, and utterly despise Albert. He reminds me of every bullying asshole I’ve dealt with, physically threatening and mocking people while trying to browbeat people into getting his way. Skully at the point I’m in is the awkward nerd trying to get accepted by the popular kids (I’m at episode 8 or 9j.

daviomac That /also/ would have worked, but Skully ends up being a more readily-present foil than if he'd been recast as a baddie. I mean, he's already a bad guy without being a formalized Bad Guy.

I was SUPER SAD when @ProbieTim couldn't make it to the sessions any longer.
