Mainly the dog fighting and setting?
Yep. You could (and I will be) equally use the rules for a WWII squadron, or if you like the battletech universe (which God Damn I do, I could hug those nerds from FASA) you could use it for aerospace or atmosheric combat.
Interesting... need to check this out.
Dragon Warrirors was originally produced in 1985 and brought back from the dead by Mongoose Games. Serpent King games currently has the licence, which they have done sweet FA to advance the game.
Is this kind of Diane Duaneish with the cat wizards or more Redwallish where they are just like warriors and such. Super neat premise thanks!
No effing idea who those folks are. This is a Jon Wick (of L5R fame) RPG that he wrote for kids, which I have used to run cutesy games for kids as young as four and I have also run super dark, rocking in a foetal ball in a corner mind fuck games for adults.
The basic premise is cats are awesome! they won the big competition against all the other animals, including humans in the dream world. Unlike humans, they can operate in and even influence the environment of the dream world even better than the 'real' world. Humans are shit at this. There are evil entities called Boggins that want to come from the dream world and possess human bodies. The boggins start out as shadows, but both manipulate and use humans bad emotions to feed and when powerful enough they can take control of their host. The boggins can only be killed in the dream world and must be weakened and then banished in the real world first. Oh and they can manipulate their environment in the dream world too.
With kids this can be a great moral story...think Aesops fables. With grown ups you can be playing a game so dark it's like RPing in the shade of a black hole!
